By using hktenancy.app you agree to these terms.
1. Service
We provide a free document-generation tool that produces a draft tenancy agreement based on the inputs you supply. The output is for your reference only. You are responsible for reviewing it, having it signed in wet ink, stamping it at the Inland Revenue Department within 30 days, and lodging Form CR109 with the Rating and Valuation Department where applicable.
2. Not legal advice
We are not a law firm. The tool, content, and template are general information, not legal advice. If your situation is complex, consult a Hong Kong solicitor.
3. No warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representation about the suitability or legal sufficiency of any generated document for your specific circumstances.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, hktenancy.app and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes (but is not limited to) disputes between landlord and tenant, stamp-duty penalties, and Rating and Valuation Department late-filing fees.
5. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service — no automated mass-generation, no attempts to disrupt operations, no use of the service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
